Emily’s journey into cycling was anything but traditional. Unlike many elite athletes, she didn’t grow up competing in sports but discovered a passion for endurance racing entirely on her own. Her competitive fire was ignited after attending her first group rides in Florida, and from there, she never looked back.Balancing a full-time career, Emily moved to Michigan and pursued racing on the side, quickly progressing through the ranks.

In 2018, she made her mark by winning her first pro race at Intelligentsia Cup. Since then, she has proven her versatility across multiple disciplines, claiming victories in criterium, road, time trial, track, gravel, and even Zwift racing.In 2021, she joined Virginia’s Blue Ridge TWENTY24, where she has continued to refine her skills and establish herself as a serious contender in both national and international competitions. Her standout performances include top 10 finishes in the individual pursuit and individual time trial at the UCI World Championships, solidifying her status as a world-class competitor.

Beyond her personal achievements, Emily is known for her unwavering dedication to her teammates, making her an invaluable part of the squad. Her relentless work ethic, adaptability, and team-first mentality continue to set her apart in the world of professional cycling.

What inspired you to become a bike racer?

Pushing myself as hard as possible in group rides and the camaraderie that came with it.

Who is an inspiration to you in your life, both on and off the bike?

My wife, my teammates.

The best thing about being a bike racer is?

Meeting people from around the world.

What is your biggest accomplishment on the bike?

Leading out my teammate for wins many times! Making the USA World Chmiosi team and alternate for Paris Olympics.

Favorite place you’ve raced your bike and why?

Greenville SC, it feels like home and I get to be with family and friends.

Favorite cross training or off-season activity?

Riding with my wife and playing video games.

Best tip for a new bike racer?

Enjoy the process, and if you're not finding joy from it try something different.

What are one or two things that you do daily that are the key to your success?

Eat wholesome meals that make me feel good. Be grateful for every moment and don't let anything stop me from being happy.

If you could spend 10 days anywhere, where would it be?

France.
