Sabo Collegiate National Track Champion
Ella Sabo capped off an outstanding track season with a huge weekend at USA Cycling Collegiate Track National Championships in Indiana, representing Colorado Mesa University.
After racing the Elite National Championships earlier this season, Ella brought that experience and form into Collegiate Nationals, collecting an impressive haul of medals. She claimed national titles in the Points Race, Scratch Race and Kilo, along with silver medals in the Sprint and Individual Pursuit. In the team events, Ella added gold in the Team Pursuit and silver in the Coed Team Sprint.
The ultimate prize of the weekend was the Women’s Omnium, awarded for the best all-around individual performance across the championships. With victories in three events, Ella earned the 2026 Women’s Collegiate Omnium National Title.
It was also a tremendous weekend for Colorado Mesa University, which captured the Varsity Team Omnium National Championship, edging Marian University by just two points.
