Olivia Cummins Wins Elite National Championship Omnium

Cummins Captures Elite & U23 Omnium National Title

In a tight, tactical Women’s Omnium at Track Nationals, the scoreboard seesawed all day. After the Scratch and Tempo races, Olivia Cummins (Fort Collins, Colo.; UCI CTW: Virginia’s Blue Ridge TWENTY28) and Stephanie Lawrence (Colorado Springs, Colo.; Star Track) sat 1–2 on 76 and 74 points. The Elimination reshuffled the deck—Lawrence moved into the lead on 110—setting up a winner-take-all Points Race. Cummins delivered when it mattered most, sealing the national championship with 140 points and pulling on the Stars-and-Stripes jersey for both the Elite and U23 categories. Lawrence earned silver with 122 points, and Reagen Pattishall (Breinigsville, Pa.; Turbo Velo Pickle Juice) completed the podium.

"I came into Nationals just hoping to learn and have fun, so walking away with both the Elite and U23 Omnium titles was significantly more than I expected. I couldn’t quite believe it at first. To finish the weekend with a team pursuit win as well was especially rewarding. We had never raced together in that lineup, and I was really proud of how well we executed our rides to take the win!" - Olivia Cummins
