Hicks wins Pace Bend

Meteor Mercedes Benz of South Austin's Pace Bend pb Hunt

"Pace Bend was a great event to practice race tactics, build fitness, and explore where I am at fitness wise. Racing without teammates puts a unique pressure on a rider to be smart and race differently than when supporting a team. I learned a lot about how to use my own strengths and weaknesses to find success. I am excited to bring back what I learned to support my teammates! This weekend was also an opportunity to find joy in racing. This season started very early and very focused so this weekend was a special opportunity to reconnect with why I race, support my people & the cycling community, and return to racing with curiosity that I believe leads to the most growth and best performances. I had so much fun on and off the bike and I’m feeling recharged and ready to keep grinding toward our long term goals." - Anna Hicks
