Women's Elite Points Race Final
Anna Hicks, the reigning Pan American Points Race Champion, continued her outstanding European campaign by winning the Elite Women's Points Race at the prestigious 6 Giorni delle Rose in Fiorenzuola.
Watching Anna grow into this discipline has been incredibly rewarding. She's learning when to be patient, when to attack, and how to score consistently. It's exciting to see it all coming together.
“I was very excited for the points race at Fiorenzoula. I knew I was in good form coming in and was mentally sharp. I could tell from the qualifier that the field was feeling the fatigue from the week of racing and I knew if I made the race hard it would be an advantage for me. I took a lap with a group of 3 and then was able to snag sprints points in every sprint going into the final to solidly the win. I’m very thankful for all the support from USA Cycling and my Twenty28 teammates and their families for making this race block possible!” - Anna Hicks
Women's Elite Madison Final
Bethany Ingram and Stephanie Lawrence delivered two consistent Madison performances against a strong 15-team field, narrowly missing the podium on both occasions. More importantly, they showed clear growth in one of track cycling's most demanding disciplines while competing against some of the world's best.
Bethany Ingram commented - "Racing at the Pordenone and Fiorenzuola C1s brought challenging racing and more international experience. I was particularly excited about continuing to build my Madison experience. Stephanie Lawrence and I placed 4th both weekends and were able to take away many positives and many learnings to carry forward into the rest of the year."

Women's Elite Points Race Final
Anna Hicks opened her European campaign at the prestigious UCI Class 1 3 Sere Internazionale "Città di Pordenone," winning the Tempo Race and finishing second overall in the Omnium. More importantly, racing against world-class competition accelerated her tactical development and confidence—experience that paid off just days later with her Elite Women's Points Race victory at 6 Giorni delle Rose.
“The points race at the Pordenone C1 was very exciting, during the first half of the race I won a sprint and got into a break with 4-5 other women. With 19 laps to go our race got stopped for a weather delay. I was leading with only a few points. We had no idea if the race would be restarted, cancelled all together, rescheduled etc. after about 2 hrs they announced that once the track dried from the rain, we would race the final 19 laps! Talk about pressure! I came into the restart fired up and ready to defend my lead. I took a sprint from off the front with 5 laps to go to secure the win!“ - Anna Hicks
